Social responsibility

Goglio Group strategy takes shape in the research and creation of complete solutions dedicated to flexible laminates for every product and packaging need. We pay great attention to efficiency and sustainability through forefront technologies, reduction of thickness of laminates, research of new materials and biodegradable and compostable solutions.

Goglio was one of the first companies that adopted an efficient solvent-recovery plant, still working today, through which the solvent used in the production of materials is recovered and used again with a great economic saving for the Company and a great advantage for the environment. In 2015 an innovative co-generation plant for energy saving was set up in cooperation with E.On.

Always sensitive to development and social and environmental changes, Goglio keeps pace contributing to future scenery development. Aware of the importance of ethical and social corporate responsibility, Goglio promotes the culture of environment and territory protection through specific projects and events.

Sustainability Report

Attention to sustainability has always been one of the hallmarks of the Goglio Group, and much has been achieved over the years in the areas concerning this topic, as described in the Sustainability Report for the year 2022.

ECOVADIS

In February 2024, Goglio was awarded the Gold Recognition Level by Ecovadis, a result that includes it in the top 5% of the best performing companies evaluated, with a score of 73/100.

As decisions and activities in the organization have an impact on society and enviroment, these must be supported by stakeholders  (eg customers, suppliers, employees, banks, institutions, no profit organization).

Goglio also got in 2023, for the fifth consecutive year, the BAQ “Bollino Alternanza Qualità” awarded by Confindustria for Daverio (VA) and Zeccone (PV) Division.
